The Access Next Generation Awards’ inaugural
supplement details the variety of skills our
industry posesses
W
e’re proud to present the
inaugural Access Next
Generation Awards, which
are designed to recognise the diverse
influence that the under 30s have on our
industry.
We’re celebrating the hard work of a
group of people who right now might be
more ‘support act’ than ‘headliner’, but
will go on to fill the stadiums and green
fields of the future.
The ideas and innovations in the minds
of the under 30s in this list are the ones
that will drive our industry forward at a
time when festivals and events are at the
forefront of our culture.
The choices those in this list make will
inform the national conversation to come
and help build the event landscapes of the
future.
It was a pleasure to meet many of the
winners of our awards at the Festival and
Tom Hall, Editor
Outdoor Show in October at Sandown
Park, and I’m already looking forward to
the next edition.
Of course, the input of the events
industry goes largely unacknowleged,
making these awards all the more
pertinent.
This supplement contains personal
reflections on the young talents career so
far, as well as endorsements from those
that made the nomination.
It was a tough job whittling the entries
down to just 30, but hopefully the variety
of skills demonstrated, from marketing
to lighting give an indication of the far
reaching impact our industry has.
