And with another iteration, we fi nd ourselves looking back on an innovative and capable industry. 2017 has been revolutionary, for both organisers and suppliers alike. Incidents such as the Manchester attack have demanded more care than ever from suppliers, while the creativity and imagination of festival organisers has required suppliers across the industry to up their game. The latest NOEA convention saw a rebrand for NOEA itself, refl ecting the increasingly collaborative approach its members are taking. Elsewhere, Oktoberfest came to the UK for the fi rst time, tackling the British appetite for beer and providing a new opportunity for UK suppliers. No one knows for sure what 2018 has in store for the events industry. What we do know is that the new year will provide plenty of new challenges and opportunities, and that suppliers will be ready and waiting to meet them head on. The suppliers in the Access Files represent some of the best in the industry, working closely with organisers to make world class events happen.
