t’s the $64 million question
- well maybe not that pricey,
but certainly the running of an event
embraces a shopping list of some depth
to cover the logistics: staging, audio,
lighting, the acts, bars, catering, toilets,
entertainment, insurance, roadways,
barriers, ticketing, security, crewing,
accommodation, temporary structures…
even mobile laundry.
This is my first year as Director on The
Event Production Show and having taken
the baton I am excited to create an event
that delivers on all the needs of event
production professionals. EPS is designed
to support and promote the industry by
showcasing the latest products as well as
creating connections and contacts.
EPS 2020, as ever, welcomes a huge
range of exhibiting partners, offering
guests a chance to discover new ideas and
solutions as well as established suppliers
that are vital to the production of the very
best live events worldwide.
If you haven’t heard, we’ve moved
home! We’ve moved the Event Production
Show to the fantastic ExCeL London. We
felt it offers a better environment for our
partners to showcase their products and
services, better facilities for our visiting
guests and more space to house even
more engaging content and experiences.
Finally, our biggest addition this
year is the Festival Live feature of the
show. There’s more on this later in
these pages, but as a headline, it’s a fully
produced festival area allowing partners
to showcase themselves in real life
situations. No festival would be authentic
without entertainment, music, dedicated
products… and a little bit of mud!
