Bar Nation has been providing bar
management services for the events
industry since 2014. Operating nationally,
it delivers full bar management contracts
for festivals, public events and venues that
require external bar providers. It also offers
bar consultancy services to the industry,
offering expertise to help maximise profits
and streamline operations for clients. Its
client list of independent festivals and
events is enviable and growing year on
year.
How We Are Different
In a very crowded market, where many
operators have the same suppliers,
approach and delivery, Bar Nation strives
to offer something above and beyond
the norm. It focuses on three key areas
of difference – account management,
operational systems and sustainability.

Account Management
A key value of the company is to “be a
partner, not a supplier” and its whole
approach centres on this. Through
effective and hard working account
management, our clients both new and
existing, know that one of the biggest
income streams from their venue or event
is in safe hands. Every client gets an
experienced account manager to work
with, who leads the planning, execution
and reconciliation process from start
to finish. They are supported by a head
office team of 15 events professionals
who ensure everyone of our 600 events
per year are delivered to the highest

standard.
Operational Systems
Bar Nation has invested heavily in
developing HQ and onsite systems to
ensure all operations are delivered in
the most cost effective and streamlined
manner possible. Onsite digital time-
tracking of all our teams via a QR coded
tap in/out system has allowed the
company to save a huge amount costs
in 2019. Our digital stock management
system has allowed us to control stock
costs for our clients and save huge sums
of money for festivals and events. Aside
from these two critical pieces of bespoke
software Bar Nation trains its teams from
top to bottom rigorously, via our online
training portal FLOW Hospitality. Its this
attention to detail that allows Bar Nation
to deliver a great, profit maximising
service to our clients.
Sustainability
Bar Nation strives to become a voice in
the fight to make the events industry more
sustainable. It is proud to sit as a headline
supporter (and the only bar company
involved in the initiative) of Festival Vision
2025. This is a pledge to support and
drive sustainability in the industry. Bar
Nation are also a partner to the charity
Less Plastic, with whom it authored a
Single Use Plastic Transformation Guide
For Companies in 2019. Bar Nation
are currently working on a number of
initiatives that are leading the way in an
industry that needs to change.
