XLE’ S TECHNICAL DELIVERY AT SALON PRIVÉ LONDON 2026
From 16-18 April 2026, the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea were once again transformed into one of the capital’ s most refined outdoor events, Salon Privé London. Set against a backdrop of historic architecture and immaculate lawns, the event brings together the world’ s most prestigious automotive marques alongside luxury brands, private collectors and high net worth guests. It is an occasion defined by elegance, precision and presentation, where every visible detail is carefully curated.
Less visible, but equally critical, is the technical infrastructure that underpins the entire experience.
For Salon Privé, that responsibility sits with XLE, a specialist technical event services provider delivering power, public address, AV and infrastructure support. Their role is not simply to supply equipment, but to ensure that every system functions flawlessly while remaining entirely unobtrusive, an essential requirement at an event where aesthetics are paramount.
A single point of technical delivery
One of the defining requirements from Salon Privé’ s organisers was the need for a fully integrated service. Rather than coordinating multiple contractors across power, audio and infrastructure, the event required a single partner capable of delivering all technical elements cohesively.
XLE was directly re-appointed, reflecting a long standing relationship built on trust and consistent delivery. The partnership itself predates the company’ s formation in 2020, with involvement in Salon Privé stretching back to 2016. What began as a power provision contract has evolved steadily,
expanding to include site wide audio, AV support for exhibitors, and the storage, installation and management of event owned infrastructure.
Today, XLE operates as a long term technical partner, providing a unified service that simplifies delivery and ensures accountability across all systems.
Delivering in a high expectation environment
Salon Privé London is not a conventional outdoor event. Its positioning at the top end of the luxury market introduces a unique set of technical challenges.
Infrastructure must be discreet. Audio must be clear but never intrusive. Power distribution must be robust, yet invisible. Every element must support the experience without detracting from it.
XLE’ s approach is grounded in detailed planning and precise execution. Cabling is routed carefully out of sight, equipment is positioned with sensitivity to sightlines, and audio systems are
integrated into the event environment. Speakers are also concealed within branded totems, allowing for consistent sound coverage across the site without visual disruption.
This attention to detail is fundamental to maintaining the integrity of the event.
