Live Nation to manage new Busan arena
Live Nation said it is working with South Korea ’ s Busan Metropolitan City to build a new entertainment complex in the city , including a 20,000-capacity arena . The development will also include an exhibition centre , hotels , and an educational facility designed to help develop K-pop talent . Live Nation is expected to manage , book content and promote at the arena . Three sites in Busan are being considered as locations for the new complex . “ The arena will become a hub of tourism empowered by K-pop , contributing to the local and national economy ,”
Flash merges with Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management
Abu Dhabi ’ s Motorsports Management ( ADMM ) and Flash Entertainment have integrated their activities and operations to create a new powerhouse events and venues operator in the Middle East . The two companies have formed Ethara , led by former ADMM CEO and Flash board member Saif Al Noaimi as CEO . Ethara , meaning ' thrill ' in Arabic , has offices in Abu Dhabi , Dubai and Riyadh . ADMM and Flash have collectively promoted and produced more than 700 major events in the region including the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix , Yasalam After-Race Concerts and Mubadala World Tennis Championships . Al Noaimi said , “ Ethara will further establish the Emirate as an economic engine in the entertainment , event management , and sports industries , locally , regionally , and internationally .”
