16TH ANNUAL CONVENTION AND AWARDS DINNER GUILDHALL, THE ROMAN BATHS AND ABBEY HOTEL, BATH WEDNESDAY 27TH NOVEMBER 2019 The theme for this year’s NOEA Annual Convention will be ‘Who’s Looking After Who?: Safety & Responsibility at Events’, and will focus on the people and responsibilities that bring events together. In a wide-ranging event, NOEA will present a special section on the recently introduced exclusion zone – or ‘Mile X’ – as well as sessions on the health and wellbeing of on-site staff. SPEAKERS This year’s theme will be an evolution from last year’s, ‘It Could Never Happen to Me’, and which saw over 150 delegates convene for the day long event. Like last year, the convention theme marks a return to ‘traditional NOEA territory’ with content focused on safety and responsibilities in the industry.
