Colin Graham , co-founder at AnyBrand , says : “ The face coverings are very comfortable , brandable and sustainable . Our unique hard surface treatment can also treat all touchpoints around a venue so that the virus can ’ t survive on them .” This anti- viral substance can be painted on walls in venues , and can also be used in air conditioning .
Just as BoxBuild adapted its product offering , Graham says companies around the events industry will have to adapt in the coming months : “ People are having to accept this is a long haul and they need to have new measures in place to mitigate the risks of infection , which I believe will extend far beyond this pandemic .”
Some of the outdoor event industry ’ s largest suppliers have dipped their toes into the burgeoning hygiene & sanitisation sector . Arena Group , a supplier of temporary structures which works with clients including the Championships at Wimbledon , launched a new Fencing , Barrier & Hand Sanitisation Division , headed up by James Woods .
Woods says : “ We have a duty to ensure convenient and effective hand sanitisation at any event or public gathering . This was a natural extension to the array of fencing and barriers that we offer .”
Meanwhile Visions Group , a supplier of A / V and production for events , has also been flexible in its product offering throughout the pandemic . The company used its expertise in A / V to create digital signage which doubles up as a sanitising station . CEO Chris Norman
