Continental Drifts : We ’ re Ready When You Are
Wow we miss live events ! However , over the past 12 months we have managed to do some pretty amazing things despite the lock downs and restrictions . We produced Sparkle in the Park – an illuminated Lights trail in Greenwich with over 8000 visitors over 7 days . We pioneered the UK ’ s largest online VR festival : Lost Horizon with over 1 million virtual viewers . We managed a bespoke dance video shoot for open house London , Created a live animated walking trail for car free day , programmed street theatre in several Southwark boroughs to support the Love to Shop campaign , and moved many of our music gigs online to entertain the masses . We are currently working on our annual Global Local festival as an online event .
We understand the journey back to live events is complex right now , but we have used the past year to make sure we are ready and raring to go when the time is right . We have some really interesting ideas for socially distanced events and activity , sticking to the latest rules and regulations and with public safety at the forefront . Our company is very diverse , and we believe this sets us aside from our competitors . Our agency performers are ready to provide amazing walkabout and street theatre performance when town centres re open . We are already programming stage line ups for some largescale festivals and were busy making plans for socially distanced events until we can all be together properly again .
We believe its still possible to make things happen albeit in a different way and we have loads of ideas suitable for many different types of events .
This year Continental Drifts celebrates our 25th birthday within the world of events and we are looking forward to what the coming year brings as well as organising a suitable party to celebrate this amazing milestone .ₒ
