Showcase makes an impressive return to the worldwide stage
This year ’ s World Retail Congress was held in Rome at the Cavalieri Hotel , the event had originally been planned for 2019 , then 2020 , but postponed due to the pandemic . So Showcase couldn ’ t wait to continue on their creative journey and finally deliver this event .
The brief was simple : design , build and manage all areas including : set build , AV , furniture , directional and sponsor signage , digital signage , feature exhibition sponsored areas and technical support including full production management . The solution was not so simple , as Showcase was keen that this event ’ s return was with a bang . To make this happen , they employed the highest level of technology , used in the most creative manner .
In total they created seven stages , five activation areas and 10 start pods . All designed and built by Showcase . Then there were the 85 pieces of directional signage as well as eight digital signage screens , all of which used Showcase ’ s digital signage software . They also provided 300 pieces of furniture and vegetation , plus the countless full renders and plans for all areas including sponsorship activation pieces .
