St. Petersburg City Theatre Celebrates 90

St. Petersburg City Theatre, the oldest continuously
operating community theatre in Florida, founded in
1925, will celebrate its 90-year history of bringing
live theatre and arts education to the community with
an exhibit at the St. Petersburg Museum of History.
Footlights, Spotlights, And Highlights, an opening
night Gala, will be held at the Museum of History
in our honor on Wed, Sept 16, 6:30pm - 8:30pm.
Ticket Price includes entertainment, food, and an
exclusive first look at the exhibit. Guests will also
get to explore the entire Museum of History. 335 2nd

Kanapaha Botanical Gardens is comprised
of 24 major collections visually accessible from a 1
½ mile paved
w a l k w a y,
including
the
state’s largest
public display
of bamboos and
the largest herb
garden in the
Southeast.
The Butterfly Rainforest is a 6400 square
foot screened exhibit that features more than 1000
free-flying butterflies and birds from around the world
along with an assortment of other animals including
turtles and fish to experience firsthand. The lush
landscape is planted in tropical trees and colorful
flowering plants amid waterfalls and a walking path.
Registration includes admission to both attractions,
round trip transportation, Florida orange juice before
boarding bus, snack on way back and driver’s tip.
