ORLANDO FALL HOME & GARDEN SHOW - Sept 11 - 13 www.orlandohomeandgardenshow.com Orlando Fall Home and Garden Show is featuring several well-known TV and radio personalities, including Jeff Lewis, star of Bravo’s hit TV show “Flipping Out,” Anne Rue, local designer and fan favorite from HGTV’s “Design Star” and Tom MacCubbin, from the syndicated radio show “Better Lawns & Gardens.” The show, which is coming to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando Sept. 11-13, features notable local home and garden experts, kitchen and bathroom contractors, interior designers, and much more. In addition, local Central Florida companies will exhibit everything from front entrance décor to backyard landscapes. Star of Bravo’s hit TV show Flipping Out and a top interior designer Appearing on Saturday only, Jeff Lewis has earned the title of America’s most well-known house flipper. Lewis has created a brand of properties that are in harmony with and are exemplified by the exterior and interior living spaces. When it comes to renovation, Lewis believes in finding the true integrity of the house, then breathing life back into the space in a way that will connect with a certain type of buyer. Jeff will speak at noon and 3 p.m. on the Celebrity stage; attendees are invited to learn from his 20+ years of experience and participate in what will surely be a lively question & answer session. Viewers of HGTV’s Design Star will recognize Anne Rue at first glance as the “red head” fan favorite of Season 8. Rue is an accomplished celebrity interior designer based in Central Florida. For over 17 years Rue has designed timeless interior scenes for both commercial and residential clients, working with everyone from professional athletes to the Travel Channel’s 52 Hotel Impossible. Anne is playful, affable and down to earth; her passion for interior design is immediately apparent from her extensive portfolio of work. In addition to her national recognition, her designs have also been featured in her hometown publications such as Orlando Sentinel, Playground Magazine, Orlando Magazine, Orange Appeal Magazine and televised on Fox News. Appearing 1:30 p.m. Saturday on the Celebrity Stage, Anne Rue will share a behind the scenes look at fan favorite reality shows and offer some quick and easy design tips to bring home. Gardeners in Florida know Tom MacCubbin through his radio, television, and newspaper contributions. A retired extension environmental horticulturist with the University of Florida in Orange County, MacCubbin has degrees in Horticulture from the University of Maryland and advanced training from the University of Florida. New this year is the “Ugly Kitchen” make-over from Affordable Granite Concepts. Attendees are invited to visit the Affordable Granite Concepts booth and bring a photo of their current kitchen and enter to win a $15,000 kitchen makeover (rules at the booth). The SODO HOME Design Center returns with a dramatic exhibit displaying an array of wood, carpet, tile, stone and custom area rugs.
