Bust out your sweet dance moves and have a “killer time” with Napoleon, Pedro, Kip and Lafawnduh
at Tampa Theatre’s 14th annual WineFest, Napoleon
Wineamite. This year’s event features snacks and
samples from local restaurants, sips from the finest
wineries, an evening of top-rated wines and a “Movie
Under the Stars” screening of Napoleon Dynamite. The
annual WineFest is Tampa Theatre’s biggest fundraising event of the year, benefitting the movie palace’s artistic and educational programs as well as its ongoing

preservation and restoration.
WineFest kicks off Thursday, Sept. 10 with a special
showing of Napoleon Dynamite. Guests are welcome
to sit in the balcony or bring blankets and lawn chairs to
spread out on the stage deck.
On Friday, Sept. 11, a Wine Tasting “Eat the Food”
from several of Tampa’s most famous independent restaurants. Guests will have the opportunity to sample
dozens of boutique wines and bid on premium silent
auction items.
On Saturday, Sept. 12, the Theatre’s stage will be
expanded for the elegant Wine Pairing at 6:30 p.m.
The multi-course menu, created and catered by Mise
En Place chef Marty Blitz, will feature delectable small
plates expertly paired with wines specific to each dish.
The Wine Brunch mixes breakfast fare catered by
SONO Café and Mise en Place with mimosas, bellinis and a selection of light wines at 11:30 a.m.Sunday,
Sept. 13.
WineFest wraps up on Thursday, Sept. 17, with the
opportunity for a select number of wine enthusiasts to
enjoy a 95 pt+ Wine Experience,
