HELPING HOOPS runs over 350 free sessions per year, with tournaments that include over 1300 children and adults.

On the 28th June, Academy League participated in the 24 Hour Charity Shootout, which was held at Albert Park College. The goal of the event was to raise funds as each person shot continuous free throws for 15 minutes within the 24 hour period.

Jo, Morgan, Jaymee, Nathan, Aaron and myself stepped up on the line, Morgan was first setting the team pace with 89 baskets.

Jo was then moved on from her warm ups and scored a high 140! Jaymee took an easy 148 and Aaron with 101. Lastly was Nathan and myself, safe to say Jaymee was the overall winner for the team.
