With our day-to-day interactions and actions , we create an inclusive and diverse culture . Diversity in and out of the classroom will continue to grow , so it ’ s essential we prepare students to adapt to an evolving world and embrace those different from themselves . Our Global Voices program is committed to creating an inclusive , diverse , and equitable community at Life . We are a student-centered program that offers academic support in a culturally diverse environment . Our mission is to integrate international and non-native Englishspeaking students towards achieving an inclusive transition and academic success . Fostering inclusion and awareness around multicultural education and taking a culturally responsive approach to teaching and supporting benefits all students . Not only does creating greater multicultural awareness and inclusion help students with different backgrounds and needs succeed , but it encourages acceptance and helps prepare students to thrive in an exponentially diverse world .
Participate in a workshop or training from ODEI ( Office of Diversity , Equity & Inclusion ).
Global Voices offers a variety of academic support programs to support you achieve academic success . During Winter quarter , Global Voices hosted a Leadership Series of workshops for International and non-English speaking students . The series included topics of goal setting , communication and networking strategies for students . Along with the workshops Global Voices offers a variety of services to ensure the students success .
