How Can Academic Workshops Improve Your Path to Success ?
The Academic Center for Educational Success ( ACES ) will continue to provide academic workshops to the student population . Our workshops have either a guest speaker from various offices around campus or one of our Academic Support Professionals presenting on a topic that will hone your academic skills . The workshops are often interactive in nature .
Our academic workshops are different from traditional workshops because they combine life and academic skills . We offer two different types of workshops : Academic Success Workshops and Campus Connections . Academic Success
Workshops help students learn skills like time management , goal setting and effective study habits . Campus Connect Workshops connect the student to the campus community around them . The Connection Workshops are presented by a campus professional and focus on strategies like financial literacy and counseling .
ACES has launched our new Passport Program . Students who attend a set number of workshops will be entered into a raffle . Our workshops are designed with student engagement in mind . We aim to transform passive learning into a fun experience here at Life University .
