Students with a solid linguistic background will further develop their linguistic competence by completing more complex activities in all skill areas , including novel studies . Students will be prepared to move through the curriculum at an accelerated rate in order to complete French 12 by the end of their Grade 11 year . Assessment includes interpretive , interpersonal , and presentational modes of communication .

As the foundational concepts are learned at a faster rate , there are more opportunities for more enriched activities and initiatives . Assessments are the same as the French 9 level .
