Web Development 10 introduces fundamental principles and techniques to design and develop effective web experiences . Students critically analyze and evaluate the latest web trends and mobile experiences . This hands-on course progresses from introductory work on web design , HTML and CSS to a culminating project in which students integrate dynamic features such as responsive design , cloudbased platforms , payment gateways , real-time databases , social media integration and user analytics . Students will discuss ethical best practices , web standards , copyright , creative commons and fair use protocols for media and content .

Computer Studies 10 is an exploration into today ’ s technology-driven world : chatbots , computer vision , recommendation systems , virtual reality , internet and big data . Students will further develop media and computer literacy through a variety of hands-on projects using multiple programming languages , software tools and hardware devices . This course requires problem-solving and independent learning skills . It is recommended for Computer Programming 12 , AP Computer Science Principles and AP Computer Science A .

Digital Media Development 12 students take on a variety of roles including Graphic Designer , UI / UX Designer , Industrial Designer and 3D Modeller . Using the design thinking process , students will build a portfolio that includes packaging , branding , print , 3D , web and mobile projects . The course will explore theoretical and practical skills to turn creative ideas into reality , such as colour theory , typography and software used in industry . Students will present their creations and provide constructive peer feedback . This course may be taken in Grade 11 or 12 . Assessment is based on assignments and presentations .
