Instrumental Music 9 : Concert Band students will continue to develop musical understanding through playing in band . They will further improve their instrumental and ensemble technique , music literacy , music history and theory skills . Assessment may include teacher observation of rehearsal skills and performances , written assignments and individual recordings .
Instrumental Music 10 / 11 / 12 : Concert Band
Prerequisite Instrumental Music 9 , Concert Band , or a minimum of two years in band playing a woodwind , brass , or percussion instrument , or by audition Course Credit 4 credits ( Grade 10 , 11 & 12 ) Course Duration Full year Delivery Method Performance-based
Instrumental Music Concert Band 10 to 12 students will continue to develop musical understanding through playing in band .
