In the graduation years , students have considerably more options in building a timetable . The table below is intended to guide students in building a timetable with the requirements of the BC Ministry of Education Graduation Program in mind .
• Required = Required by Ministry for BC Ministry of Education Diploma ( Dogwood )
• Recommended = Some post secondary institutions require credit in this subject area to apply to an undergraduate program ( e . g . University of British Columbia requires a Grade 11 language credit )
• Elective = Student choice ; however a minimum of 28 credits to be completed
