Fitness and Conditioning 11 focuses on four big ideas ; maintaining and enhancing personal fitness through participation in a variety of activities and different intensities , knowledge of how the body moves and functions aids in staying safe during exercise , understanding following proper training guidelines and techniques and their role in reaching health and fitness goals , and the impact of healthy choices on health and fitness goals . Through a variety of physical activities , investigation labs , and health and fitness plans and a partial certification training in Fitness Theory and CPR-C , students will develop a deeper understanding of the human anatomy and physiology as it relates to lifelong health and wellbeing . Assessment will take place through peer , and teacher evaluations of physical literacy , a skill analysis investigation , anatomy and physiology certification assessments , a personalised fitness program , and participation rubrics for social responsibility .

Students will expand their understanding of human anatomy and physiology as it relates to lifelong health and wellbeing through a variety of physical activities , investigation labs , health and fitness plans , and a partial certification training in Fitness Theory and CPR-C Assessment will focus on being leaders and facilitators of this course and will include self , peer , and teacher evaluations of physical literacy , peer evaluation of a skill analysis investigation , anatomy and physiology certification assessments , evaluation of a fitness program , and participation rubrics for social responsibility .
