Activity : Selecting and Modifying Courses
Application to Challenge a Course : Students wishing to challenge a Grade 10-12 level course to recieve credit undocumented demonstrated prior learning . Students are entitled to use the ‘ challenge ’ process to receive credit for Ministry-Developed courses for Grades 10 , 11 or 12 . To do so they must submit an application by this date .
Challenge Exam : Students who have applied to challenge a course will complete their challenge exam on this day .
* Language challenges may follow a different process , due to the nature of the courses , please see your Language teacher for details .

2021-2022 Student Timetables Available on MySchool : Students will be able to view their timetables on MySchool . Students who require course changes must complete an online form . The link to this form is available through a link included in the “ Back to School ” information sent to the community on this day .
Processing of Course Change Requests Begins : Senior School staff will begin processing all requests for course changes and will continue to do so until the end of September .
Final Date to Add an AP Course to a Student Timetable : The amount of curriculum covered in an AP course by this date is extensive ; however , it is possible for a student to make up the missed work . Beyond this date , maintaining current course expectations and catching up on early AP course material impacts student success in all courses . For this reason , the school sets a deadline to add an AP course to a student timetable .
Final Date to Change or Drop in-Timetable Courses : Course changes / withdrawals after this date are only considered under extenuating circumstances ( illness , absence from school , etc .).
Final Date to Drop Out-of-Timetable ( M-Block ) Courses : Course changes / withdrawals after this date are only considered under extenuating circumstances ( illness , absence from school , etc .).
