FEATURED SESSION
130 Let’ s Listen, Let’ s Talk: Creating Community Without Consensus
Our NAEYC community has a shared mission and vision— but that doesn’ t mean we always agree on how to make progress towards achieving it. For example, when it comes to policymaking, one advocate’ s compromise is another’ s capitulation. This interactive session will feature dynamic speakers sharing their perspectives, decision-making processes, and experiences, while participants will have opportunities to talk together, and will be encouraged to engage and grapple with ideas and strategies they agree with, as well as those they don’ t.
