FEATURED SESSION
44 What’ s the Real Challenge? Changing Your Mindset from Challenging Behaviors to Developmentally Appropriate Expectations
Our training aims to shift educators’ perspectives on challenging behaviors in the classroom. Early childhood educators often perceive these behaviors as signs of a child being“ difficult” or“ problematic.” However, many of these actions are developmentally appropriate for their age. Through our session, we will explore behaviors that may seem disruptive but can be transformed into valuable teachable moments. By the end of the training, participants will gain a deeper understanding of developmentally appropriate expectations and learn how to redefine and effectively address challenging behaviors in a constructive and impactful way.
