Abus Coritani Review Spring 2014 vol 6 | Page 20

20 Special mention to young Amy Naylor who writes and performs her own material and is really developing in style and confidence. She just makes you smile to watch her. She was followed by Keith and Kirsty of Brodgar who perform languid and traditional ballads in their own elegant style. We have seen Kirsty become a more confident and stronger singer. All to the good. Next were the multi-talented Gone to the Dogs who opened with a beautiful tune which featured Daithi on the penny whistle. This is not an instrument one sees every day and he is a master of it, matched only by the virtuosity of the violinist.
