Personally I am not usually a fan of Disney, too much glitter and sugar coating for my liking, and yes, this does have a certain amount of that, but it has much more too. Some of the story is love and light and twinkly faeries, but most of it is dark and disturbing. Its themes of greed, arrogance and betrayal are not the usual Disney tripe and Angelina Jollie plays the part of Maleficent wonderfully. Th H
