One of these wonderful people who joined us wrote his own account, in his own unique way, and I would also like to share that!
“ I pitched our toilet tent.. went inside( which was actually much bigger inside than it appeared outside. I pushed a button and there was a strange whoooshing sound, I unzipped the door and appeared to be transported to a place typical of Saxon times. I had a feeling of tranquility and could only hear the sound of nature as the sun peeped through the clouds. I walked through a gap in a mound of earth to find a wooden framed house with a thatched roof. It had no double glazed windows, in fact no glass at all! No carpets, A rope bed, a few wooden benches and lots of Saxon artifacts. The house did have central heating..( a fire in the middle of the room also used for cooking). " Who lives in a house like this?" There were many ' robed ' people around including myself. We moved towards a grove of trees where a ritual circle had
been prepared for the Beltane celebration. The ritual was performed and was a very pleasant experience, although the mead was substituted with water due to circumstances beyond control... The sun was kind enough to show its face for the entire afternoon. After the ritual, we headed back to the house where a miracle took place... Water was turned into mead! and there was food aplenty... enough to feed a good five thousand..( well maybe not quite) but it was certainly of high quality! and CAKE too! It is evident that Judith and Steve have put a lot of hard work into this magical place. It is well worth a visit( or many) not just for ritual but any social gathering. It is certainly a place We would love to visit again soon.” Phillip Green

As we got nearer we saw that the temple itself was packed full of people- in wedding attire. With that the bride and groom were walking down the path towards us complete with photographer leaping around with his camera! To the front but
