The end of it shall be with a flood , And till the end of the war desolations are determined . 27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week ; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering . D – The stoning of Stephen [ End of term for Jews and the gospel preached to the Gentiles / world ] 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations ; and then shall the end come . 1810 Days / Years - The work of Jesus Christ as our High Priest as our High Priest in the Heavenly Sanctuary . 14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens , Jesus the Son of God , let us hold fast our confession . 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses , but was in all points tempted as we are , yet without sin . 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace , that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need ( Hebrews 4:14-16 )
" And He shall confirm the covenant with many for one week ." The " week " here brought to view is the last one of the seventy ; it is the last seven years of the period allotted especially to the Jews . During this time , extending from A . D . 27 to A . D . 34 , Christ , at first in person and afterward by His disciples , extended the gospel invitation especially to the Jews .
