If there’ s one thing you can be sure of when it comes to the Absa RUN YOUR CITY CAPE TOWN 10K, it’ s that the race will be a party-on-foot, with a fantastic line-up of route entertainment from start to finish.
How does this sound for fun on the run? You start the race with great tunes and fun commentary( and an awesome car give-away), then you hit the first vibe point after about a kay, complete with music, dancers, costumes and commentator … followed by another one about a kay later … then another within the next kay … and so it goes on, all through the race! That’ s the incredible party atmosphere of the Absa RUN YOUR CITY Series events, to keep you entertained, and to keep your energy levels high and legs ticking over as you do your 10km run.

These will include the vibrant Absa High Five at 5, the spirited Chery Cheer Zone, and the refreshing Castle Lite Zone, while an all-new PUMA GO WILD activation will be something to look forward to. Also look out for the Love For Local, Razzle Dazzle and Flagbearer activations, as well as others, with each vibe point creating unforgettable moments that celebrate the spirit of Cape Town and its people. In other words, arrive at the start ready to enjoy a genuine party-on-foot!
