Where to Find the Pacers
We’ ve asked all the pacesetters to be at the start about 30 minutes before the race start, so that runners can find them and meet them before the run. The pacesetters will then line up at the start according to their pace times, with faster pacesetters near the front of the field, and slower pacesetters closer to the back of the field. Pacers will run at a pace to meet their target times, but runners should note that due to starting in staggered start batches, the targeted finishing time will not match the clock at the finish.
So, look out for the pacers with the flags at the start, or along the route, and either run with them, or use them as a gauge of your own pace and finishing time.
