to the Editor
aBr is all about informing, educating and entertaining, and
our regular Trilogy Customer C.A.R.E. Programme, which is
being serialised in the magazine under the sponsorship of
Federal-Mogul, fits the profile perfectly.
As mentioned in our intro, he has a particular affinity for
the Trilogy Customer C.A.R.E. Programme, and he has
asked if the complete set of the programme is available
electronically.
The enthusiastic response to this programme that we
have received over the years, has given us a good idea
that this programme has hit the nail on the head, and two
recent requests have convinced us that we should consider
making the whole programme available in either book or
electronic format.
Thanks for the compliment, Rajeev,
and we are looking at the most
convenient way of meeting
this request.
The latest letter was from a Durban fan of aBr, and we
really appreciate this feedback.
Rajeev Nursingh says that he is an avid reader of aBr, and
that he just loves the content, which makes for a great
read.
Bridgestone in Cape yacht sponsorship
Bridgestone South Africa, well
known for its tyres, was in the
news for different reasons with the
announcement that it has taken full
naming rights on a Cape Town yacht,
the 40-foot catamaran, Bridgestone
Ameera. The sponsorship will run
for three years and will see the
Bridgestone logo prominently featured
on the Ameera’s sail.
The announcement was made during
a glossy event hosted on Friday
26 September by Bridgestone staff
at Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront; with the
guests including some of Cape Town’s top
swimsuit models and other VIPs including
to establish a higher-profile presence
in the Mother City. “Bridgestone has
a large satellite office in Montague
Gardens to the North of Cape Town,
as well as an extensive dealer network
serving Cape Town and the surrounds,
and with our new yacht based in the
Cape Town harbour, Bridgestone will
have a prominent presence in the
vibrant V&A Waterfront tourist hotspot”
she adds.

Apart from offering daytime cruises
and a sunset cruise, the Bridgestone
Ameera will also assist in increasing the
profile of South African tourism by providing
access to Robben Island for visitors.
