The Sport Speciale launch edition of the Alfa Tonale introduces a new multicolored gradient-effect ambient light on the dashboard, inspired by the serpent skin of Alfa Romeo’ s iconic Biscione. This unique design adds a touch of modern character to the passenger compartment.
The New Tonale also incorporates segment-leading features, including semi-automatic parking, ventilated front seats, a wireless charger, electrochrome wing mirrors, and dual-zone climate control with an automatic recirculation( Air Quality System).
BROADER COLOR PALETTE
The color palette for the new Tonale has expanded to eight shades, with the introduction of three new metallic paints: Rosso Brera, Verde Monza, and Giallo Ocra. Each of these has its own way to enhance the car’ s volumes and lines, with the three new body colors joining the current Nero Alfa, Bianco Alfa, Grigio Vesuvio, Verde Montreal, and Blu Misano. The optional contrasting black roof, also available in combination with the sunroof, further enhances the car’ s dynamism and elegance; it is the ideal component to make your Tonale even more unique.
Driving Dynamics: The Alfa Romeo DNA Alfa Romeo’ s commitment to transforming technology into an exhilarating driving experience continues with the new Tonale iteration. Its exceptional handling is a
result of a balanced chassis, optimal weight distribution, an augmented wheel track that minimizes roll and understeer and independent McPherson suspension, sport-tuned for both front and rear.
Stopping power is provided by four-piston Brembo brakes, while the steering, with a 13.6:1 ratio, is the most direct in its segment, guaranteeing precise control.
Further enhancing the Tonale’ s performance are advanced technologies such as Dual Stage Valve( DSV) electronic suspension or Frequency Selective Damping( FSD) shock absorbers, which strike an ideal balance between comfort and handling. The brakeby-wire system, also found in the Giulia and Stelvio, and Q4 AWD all-wheel drive on the Ibrida Plug-In variant, deliver an optimal combination of stability, safety, and dynamism. For an engaging driving experience, gear changes are facilitated by aluminum paddles fixed to the steering column, and the Alfa DNA selector allows drivers to customize the car’ s character to match their preferences and driving style.

ENGINE LINE-UP
The Euro 6E-bis standard engines deliver a total output of 175 hp for the Ibrida and 270 hp for the Ibrida Plug-In. Thanks to a its Hybrid Control Processor, power delivery is now more immediate, linear, and continuous. This system ensures seamless transitions between the internal combustion engine and the electric motor, significantly improving comfort.
The Tonale Ibrida comes equipped with a 175-hp 1.5 Turbo four-cylinder engine featuring variable-geometry turbo( VGT), developed exclusively for the Tonale. This engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox and front-wheel drive, representing the latest evolution of the brand’ s 48V hybrid technology.
For those who prefer diesel, a 130- hp 1.6 Diesel engine is available with a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and frontwheel drive. This option ensures limited fuel consumption, making it an ideal solution for intensive use.
The top of the range Q4 Ibrida Plug-In features electrified all-wheel drive and a 6-speed automatic transmission. This variant is available in two power levels: a 190-hp version and a more powerful 270-hp model, representing the pinnacle of the New Tonale’ s performance and technological efficiency.
