Motor retail experts
MISA focuses solely on the South African motor retail sector and is
an active participant in this important industry.
It prides itself on being more than just a union that offers its
members support and advice in labour-related matters. MISA also
plays an active role in pertinent industry issues, such as training and
development, job creation and economic development.
Active campaigner for women’s rights
Through the MISA Women’s Forum, MISA is also an active
campaigner for the rights of female employees in the traditionally
male-dominated motor retail industry. The Women’s Forum not only
aims to support and uplift women in the retail motor industry, but
is also committed to making a real difference in the communities in
which our members live and work.
MISA has a team of experts and qualified labour law practitioners
that provides free and expert legal advice to MISA members. Where
appropriate, MISA also provides the necessary legal defence to
members in the resolution of labour disputes.
Unique problem-solving approach
MISA is proud of its problem-solving approach, which is a major
contributing factor to its high success rate in the amicable resolution
of disputes in the workplace.
