STELLANTIS REAPS AWARDS WITH NEW TECHNOLOGIES

DVN award for its lighting system and the launch of STLA a cracking start for Stellantis in 2025
The Opel Grandland has been recognized for its advanced technology, particularly its Intelli-Lux HD lighting system. This was acknowledged by Driving Vision News, with the Grandland receiving the prestigious DVN Award 2025 for‘ Best Front Lamps’ in an online vote. Philipp Roeckl, Global Lead Complex Lighting at Stellantis, accepted the award at the DVN symposium in Munich on behalf of Opel.
Expressing delight at the DVN community’ s recognition of the Opel Grandland’ s Intelli-Lux HD light with the DVN Award 2025, he emphasized that this pioneering system, with over 50,000 individual elements, enables high-resolution, situationappropriate light distribution, enhancing both driver comfort and road safety.

Stellantis NV has also revealed its first in-house automated driving system, STLA AutoDrive 1.0, which provides handsfree and eyes-off( SAE Level 3) functionality. STLA AutoDrive, along with STLA Brain and STLA Smart Cockpit, are crucial components of < Insert > Stellantis’ technology strategy to advance vehicle intelligence, automation and user experience.
STLA AutoDrive gives drivers back valuable time by enabling automated driving at speeds up to 60 km / h, which reduces driver workload in heavily-congested traffic. Ideal for commuters in dense urban areas, STLA AutoDrive allows drivers to temporarily engage in non-driving tasks.
The system is designed for ease of use and activates at the touch of a button. It can manage steering, braking, speed and safe following distances, notifying drivers of its availability based on traffic and environmental conditions. A suite of advanced sensors monitor surroundings and ensure highprecision awareness and reliable operation, even at night or in light rain and road spray.
At higher speeds STLA AutoDrive offers adaptive cruise control and lane centering functions in Level 2( hands-on) and Level 2 +( hands-off, eyes-on) modes.
