24 November 2013, after franchise owners
Lester van der Byl and Collette Slabbert
identified the need for a Goldwagen branch in
the area.
Goldwagen Randfontein customers were
treated to some attractively priced opening
specials. Since December, business has steadily
continued to pick up, with the owners actively
promoting the store. Advertising flyers have
been distributed in neighbouring Westonaria and
Carletonville, and the company has promoted its
wares in local newspapers as well.

reportedly been snapping up great quantities of engine oil,

activities, has experienced an uptick in
economic growth in the last few years as new

the MAHLE BEHR plant in
Port Elizabeth, which will enable
the company to use synergies
optimally on site and also tap the
full potential of future growth.
MAHLE Aftermarket, the
MAHLE business unit
specialising in spare parts,
opened a sales office in
Port Elizabeth on
3 March 2014.
The branch offers customers
comprehensive service on
location and should contribute
to further strengthening the position of
the brand in the South African region.
Besides South Africa, the new sales
location of MAHLE Aftermarket GmbH will
also serve Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe,
Zambia, Mozambique, Angola as well as
the Kingdom of Lesotho. The focus thus
lies on the whole South African region.
This simplifies the exchange of experiences
and enables specific regional features to be
addressed faster and more effectively.
For local customers, this results in more
individual and flexible support and access
