Campaign for Black History Month with Tip-Off
Event at Evans High School;
Magic to Reward Students with Game Tickets
In the on-going celebration of Black
History Month (BHM), the Orlando Magic, along with Magic Community Ambassadors Nick Anderson, Bo Outlaw
and NBA Legends Greg Minor and Sam
Vincent joined the NBA’s “Dream Big”
campaign with a tip-off event on Feb.
27 at Evans High School.
The NBA is teaming up with EverFi, a
leading education technology company, to create a digital curriculum which
is launching in 30 schools across all
NBA team markets during BHM.
The new campaign was developed in
conjunction with GlobalHue, a leading
U.S. full-service agency with multicultural expertise. The various program
elements will reach a broad African-American audience through a series of event activations, educational
programs and targeted media partnerships.
