Giuseppe Ranzini and his Art
Graduated in Social, Marketing, Adopting as the main material
By Edmundo Cavalcanti
What distinguishes the art of Giuseppe Ranzini, is the thrill in the
precise movement of his hand in
vigorous circular strokes, in the
search and display of references
to the simplicity of the disks.
Ten years ago, almost suddenly
he decided to abandon the " real
" images , to give color and movement to the forms where the rings
and discs have a very clear meaning in his paintings today. These
disc-forms, are figures in forms of
discs, with a very special attraction where they transmit to the
viewer's gaze, that passivity finds
no place in his art.
Giuseppe Ranzini, born in Milan,
Italy, arrived in Rio de Janeiro
in 1952 and was influenced from
childhood by his uncle’s art, the

his personal technique, he baptized disc form Art, in which the

your creativity, opening space to
the concept of eternal circularity,
which began in the annular images , and quickly reaching the disciform the figures in the form of
concentric disks of different sizes
