The Allora by Meridian Sky Watch is the first in a series designed by an Italian -American artist , engineered by an Armenian-American Master Watchmaker ( CMW21 ), and built by highly trained technicians at the FTS state-of-the-art facility in Fountain Hills , Arizona .
These watches use an accurate and robust Ameriquartz movement inside , and are individually certified using the proprietary “ ATAC ” ( Assess , Test , Assemble , Certify ) process ensuring each watch will meet or exceed your quality expectations . Crafted in 316L steel , these 40mm watches are the perfect size and comfortable to wear . Covering the dial is a scratchproof and ARtreated sapphire crystal .
Monochromatic by design , the cleanly executed dial is simple , elegant , easy to read , with luminous hour , minutes , and seconds hands for low-light legibility .
Allora has also been engineered to achieve 100-meters of water resistance without the need for a screw-down crown . By eliminating a very common error that occurs when setting a watch and forgetting to screw in the crown , this watch will avoid the inevitable service issues brought up when water , moisture , and contaminants enter the inner space of the watch due to that error .
