Revisiting a design from 1961, Edox’s Delfin brings a bit
of retro diver into the future. Limited to only 300 pieces,
the Edox Delfin Fleet 1650 Limited Edition adds shoulders
to the round case to recall the original flow of the design
without seeming out of date. Easy to read and water
resistant to 20atm, the Fleet 1650 is built as solid as it
looks and not afraid of a day’s work – above or under
water. Retail price for the steel edition is $1,725, while
the warmth of a bronze case runs right up against our
own vertical price limit of $2,400 (It’s actually $2,500 but
I really like the bronze and wanted to show it.) Inside beats
an automatic Swiss mechanical that Edox refers to as the
caliber 88.
