Design Quarter opening in August 2018

We are getting closer to the official opening of Botswana’s first home décor and lifestyle centre in
Setlhoa, Gaborone. Inclement weather has impacted our schedule by a further two weeks. However, we
have allowed enough slack to mitigate the delays. Some of our tenants have progressed with their interior
layouts. At this juncture, we are busy with internal finishes, painting, external works, roofing, painting
steel work, sanitary fittings and balustrades.
Refurbishment of
Engen Mall in Palapye

The comprehensive upgrade of the Engen Mall in
Palapye has begun and work has started on the façade
and shopfronts of the line shops. The full refurbishment
of the SPAR has been finalised and the new loading
bays and receiving areas are being constructed. SPAR
has signed another 10-year lease and are proving to
be valuable anchors for this mall. Once complete, the
revamped mall will compete with all the new malls that
have sprung up around Palapye.
