HONG KONG-ZHUHAI-MACAU BRIDGE , HONG KONG
The Hong Kong – Zhuhai – Macau Bridge is a complex seacrossing project , which consists of a series of three cable-stayed bridges and one undersea tunnel spanning the Lingdingyang channel that connects Hong Kong with Macau and Zhuhai , three major cities on the Pearl River Delta in China . The project is expected to cost $ 15.9 billion . With the total length of 50kms , the bridge became the longest bridge built over sea in the world , the longest bridge built over water in the world , while the tunnel became the longest underwater road tunnel in the world , as well as the only underwater tunnel with the depth below 50 metres .
SONGJIANG HOTEL , CHINA
The Songjiang Sustainable Hotel is located in the city of Shanghai in the Songjiang district , China . The 400- bed resort will be located in a 100-metre-deep quarry located in the province and will contain restaurants , cafés , sport facilities , and even underwater public areas and guestrooms facing a ten-metre deep aquarium full of aquatic life .

This building serves as the China Central Television Headquarters . Ground broke on its construction in September 2004 with the facade completed in 2008 . This amazing building stands around 234 metres tall over 54 floors .
GREAT MAN-MADE RIVER PROJECT , LIBYA
This amazing construction project in Libya is probably the biggest irrigation project in the world . It sits underneath the Sahara desert and consists of 2 800 km of pipes . These pipes connect 1 300 wells and transport around 6.5 million cubic metres of fresh water every day . The project began in 1985 and is currently still ongoing . The bulk of its funding has come from the Libyan government . The project is set to be completed in or around the year 2030 .
