AMERICAN BRANDS
AUTODROMO
The Group B Series 2 Windup Edition is a Worn
& Wound boutique exclusive in a new colorway. In
contrast to the bright, brushed steel of the normal
models, the Windup Edition features a dark titanium
gray PVD coating over steel on the bracelet, mid-case,
and crown, with the bezel and case back remaining
solid titanium. The entire watch is bead-blasted to a
matte finish. Hints of automotive watch designs from
the 1980’s come through with cerulean hands and
markers on a matte titanium gray dial with matching
case and bracelet. This lightweight 39mm diameter
Group B weighs in at a svelte 52 grams and is powered
by the Miyota 9105 automatic winding mechanical
movements inside.
In addition to the bracelet, the Group B Series 2
Windup Edition a custom version of the American-made
Admiralty Gray ADPT strap comes with every watch.
The Group B Series 2 Windup Edition is limited to
145 units and is available now for $975.
LIV
You’d be hard-pressed to find even the simplest version of a Swiss
mechanical chronograph for anything close to the $745 LIV is now advertising
as the price for this watch at www.livwatches.com.
Not that this LIV Rebel AC Chronograph is any kind of simple. From the
color accents on the chrono-pushers, to the deep dish design of the multi-layer
dial, LIV is offering a lot of watch design and engineering to create a superior
value argument in a bold look. Sapphire crystals front and back sandwich a
Sellita SW500 series in an unusual shaped case that remains water tight to a
10atm rating. Remaining stock is priced to move between $740-$795.
