M MECHANICALS SHINOLA Shinola has finally launched a mechanical watch. And to everyone’s surprise, it’s not using partner brand Ronda’s new caliber R150 automatic movement – yet. Instead, Shinola has opted for the Sellita SW200 (ETA 2824 clone) to launch their first foray into mechanicals. Building on the original Runwell design, the Runwell Automatic is updated with small details including micro-tracking, a richly-printed dial and an iconic case back with a view of the 26 jewel Sellita SW200-1. Available in 39.5mm and 45mm, the polished case features a classic pumpkin crown and double domed sapphire crystal. The domed case back features a sapphire crystal to allow a view of the Shinola lightning bolt branded rotor. The Runwell automatic is now available at Shinola stores and at www.Shinola.com . Runwell Automatic retails for $1,095 for leather strap styles, and $1,295 for bracelet styles. 26 | AboutTime Magazine
