Multifort Escape Horween Special Edition
After the success of the first Multifort supplied with a Horween
leather strap in 2015, Mido revisits the American supplier with a new
model that combining Swiss watchmaking with leather from one of
the most renowned tanners. Full-figured at 44mm, Mido’s stainless
steel case is aged and sandblasted black with a PVD treatment.
Supplied with two easily interchangeable straps, you can change
the feel of the watch by switching from the more casual look of the
smooth brown calfskin or dress it up a bit with a pebble finish black
calfskin option. An Elabore’ version of the Caliber 80 automatic
movement resides in side the 10atm rated case allowing for up to
80 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
Decorated with vertical Geneva stripes, the dial is protected under
a domed sapphire crystal with antireflective treatment on both sides
with beige Super-LumiNova® accents to enhance legibility and instill
a retro feel. Retail price is listed as $1,090.
