ALPINA SEASTRONG DIVER
Released earlier this year, Alpina’s new Seastrong diver epitomizes the name it carries. Rated to
30atm without the use of the helium release valve, the exceptional water resistance confirms the
timepiece’s place in the Alpina Diver collection as both a highly reliable diving instrument, and a
distinctive daily wear sports watch. Seastrong incorporates all the usual assets that make a div-
ing watch what it is both above and below the water. Exceptional legibility is courtesy of over-size
luminous hands, indexes and bezel markers, while the easy to manipulate uni-directional bezel can
time your dive (or any other event) up to an hour. Even the knurled crown is over-sized for easy
use and is also threaded for screwing it down securely.
This most recent version plays off the history of the brand’s early entry into the 20atm club with
its predecessor first released in the 1960’s. This modern version is offered in a robust 44mm
titanium coated stainless case and is regulated by a Swiss quartz movement with a second time
zone and date in addition to the hours, minutes, and seconds displays. Battery life is expected t
