Frederique Constant:
New Blue World
Following the introduction of its first integrated smart watch, Frederique Constant
now adds a new Worldtimer function andplaces it on a new blue dial. You can now
check your home time and keep track of
local time. When travelling, the watch will
automatically synchronize with the user’s
smartphone date and time. Once an additional time zone has been selected, three
pushes on the button will display the time in
another part of the world on the analogue
dial of the watch. The new functionality can
also be added to previous models of the
Horological Smartwatch by simply updating
the MotionX-365 app. Activity data is also
displayed in the MotionX-365 app, available
for iOS and Android, and will highlight how
much one has moved and slept during the
day, week, or month. The new iteration
is stunning in a navy blue dial, navy croc
strap and a rose-gold-plated stainless steel
case. Price: $1,295.

Using the same MotionX technology to track steps and sleep cycles as well as activity alerts,
Mondaine’s Helvetica series is its platform into the activity tracker world. Retaining Mondaine’s
simple, industrial design, the Helvetica No. 1 will appeal to buyers who prefer a Swiss Made
watch with a clean-cut functionality that does not get bogged down with too much information.
Retail price is just under $900.
