Powered by a chronometer certified (COSC) Valjoux 7750 movement, only 999 of the Mido Commander Automatic Limited edition
chronographs (below, right) will be offered in the series. While the chronograph function sub-dials are enhanced, the running seconds is
designed to almost disappear, giving this Mido the look of a classic two-register chrono. Looking larger than the 42.5 mm case thanks
in part to the extra thin bezel, this watch will appeal to fans of bigger watches that appreciate the comfort factor of more moderate-sized
watches. Combining Valjoux and COSC in the same watch brings this retail price up to the $2,420 range.
Mido’s Multifort combines a pierced brown leather strap with an all-black case and dial to great effect. Vintage color ecru lume on the dial
keeps the casual strength of the look intact as does the vertical channels machined on the dial. The 44mm case is water resistant to 10
atm and the Mido (ETA A05) caliber 60 is visible through the see-through back will run for a solid 60 hours from full wind. $2,130 at
