This marks the beginning of Tissot’s global partnership with the NBA, which will provide a new precision timekeeping system for all 29 NBA arenas beginning in the 2016-17 NBA season. NBA team and league executives and former NBA players joined Tissot President François Thiébaud in New York to formally announce the new partnership deals and unveil the Tissot NBA Watch Collection. The collection is composed of six watches that showcase Tissot’s multiple watch segments, from sporty to classic to trendy. Models included in the new collection launch are the Tissot T-Touch Expert Solar, Tissot PRC 200 and Tissot PR100. Additionally, each team partner will launch a special edition team collection of the Tissot Quickster, which will feature their team colors and logo on the caseback. The NBA Collection will launch at the end of the year and will be available for sale in Tissot boutiques, Tissot’s online store and key retail partners around the country. Tissot Once Again Becomes Official Timekeeper of the Tour de France Tissot, a member of the Swatch Group, has distinguished itself once again in the world of cycling by becoming Official Timekeeper of the Tour de France and all cycling time trials run by Amaury Sport Organisation. The Swiss brand will provide its innovative timekeeping systems at all A.S.O. time trials for the next five years. Cycling is one of the sports that Tissot has been most involved in, as the watch brand has been associated with international various cycling events for the past 50 years. The brand had already been Official Timekeeper of the Tour de France from 1988 to 1992. Proud of its Swiss roots, Tissot got further involved in 1995 by joining forces with the UCI International Cycling Union. Since then, Tissot has been the official Timekeeper of road, trail, mountain-bike and BMX cycling world championships, world cup cycling time trials and the Mountain Bike World Championship. With the 2016 cycling season fast approaching, Tissot has joined forces with A.S.O. in running time trials all over the world. The Swiss watchmaker will lend its expertise at a large number of major time trials on the calendar, from Paris-Nice to Paris-Tours, including La Flèche Wallonne, the Tour de France and the Vuelta a España. In a sport were every second counts, relying on an extremely high-quality timekeeper is essential. Tissot shares the same values as A.S.O. in this regard with a shared vision of standards, precision and performance required in cycling.
