M Mechanicals Oris Oris has partnered with the Williams Formula One team since 2003 and have used this partnership to inspire a series of contemporary sport watches that highlight this partnership. The new Oris Williams Engine, Date moves the collection down the track with a 42 mm multi-part case in brushed and polished steel. From the front a deep dial offers dimension and a semi skeleton dial offers a glimpse of what lies under the hood. The “Engine, Date” is of course powered by a Swiss Made movement inside the 42 mm, 10atm rated stainless steel case. In this instance the upgraded Sellita SW200-1 is the power plant of choice and visible through the back. Once this new Oris arrives on our shores you can expect a retail price around $1,650 for this race inspired wristwear. Bernhart Bernhardt first introduced the Globemaster in 2006 in a series of 500 watches that quickly sold out. The new Globemaster ll dual time is now available in another limited series of 500 pieces in four variations: Blue & orange, black & black, green & black and blue & black bezels options are paired with matching dials. This basic sport design is enhanced by the knowledge that this small American-based brand pays particular attention to finished quality and takes excellent and personal care of their customers. The 42mm cases are rated to 20 atm and protect a modified ETA 2836 automatic Swiss movement within. Retail price is $674 – while they last. www.bernhardtwatch.com 10 FUNCTION | AboutTime Magazine
