Keynote Presentation by:
Tammy Anderson, Principal, Briar Road Primary
School
‘My way, your way, our way’
Tammy’s keynote presentation will take
participants on a journey through her home and
school community. The journey highlights best
practice in Aboriginal Education and will showcase
the work that both her and her supportive school
team are undertaking to ensure that culture is front
and centre in each child’s education at Briar Road
Public School.
Tammy is committed to ensuring that high
expectations set the foundation for strong teacher-
student relationships for all students and believes
that the change in outcomes for disadvantaged
children and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
children are possible through developing
strong school cultures, empowering community
partnerships and the delivery of high quality
curriculum that caters to each child’s needs.
